The Orlando Helicopter Blowout 2009 was a success! We had close to 220 registered pilots and about 500 spectators. The winner of the grand prize donated by Heli Wholesaler was John Green from Orlando, Florida. We also had many pro pilots from all over the world and great sponsors. Media coverage was abundant with Mark Ryder from http://www.runryder.com/, Derrick Threatt from http://www.rcheliresource.com/ and Chuck Bassani from RC Heli Magazine.

Our very first annual Orlando Helicopter Blowout event brought over 125 registered pilots to the RCACF facility in Central Florida, including several top pilots from all over the country, such as Bert Kammerer, Bobby Watts, Jared Granzow and Henry Caldwell to name a few. We had thousands of dollars in prizes and we even hosted a 3D contest. Next year promises to be bigger and better.
