John Green, Vice President
John is pretty new to helicopters. However, in a very short period of time he has proven that he can be an outstanding club member. John likes to make sure our club is in top shape, he takes care of things around the field like nobody else. He has been a trememdous help during our “Orlando Helicopter Blowout” event and you can usually find John at the field every day of the week. John was the lucky winner of the ready-to-fly T-Rex 700 at the Orlando Helicopter Blowout 2009. |

David Blain”Since signing up with TORCHS I have found that there is more to this club than just paying your dues and going tank for tank trying trying to burn a hole in the sky! It’s all about the comradery of the members that share a common interest in R/C Helicopters in keeping the hobby alive and growing! Though I may not currently be a “3D Expert” (as of yet!) there is plenty to do to support/endorse and promote the club! I take personal pride in our field and it overall appearance and don’t hesitate in dedicating my time along with John Green to keep the field cut/maintained to keep it at the “Show Quality” level it is! I also enjoy helping new members that sign up that need assistance getting through the often challenging learning process or assisting a club member that needs to make a repair to keep them flying from an unforeseen “ground impact” problem!
What I do find more of honor is to be a member of what I personally believe to be the best R/C Helicopter Club in the U.S. and to be surrounded by some of the hardest flying, most skilled pilots in the R/C Helicopter industry today!” |

Mark currently is flying a Trex 600N and loves to fly as fast as he can. In addition to his love for R/C heli’s, he has also been an avid musician for the last 25 years and loves playing with his band, No Pressure! |
